Workout at Park Square With These Simple Exercises
March 15, 2019
Going to a gym can be inconvenient or maybe even intimidating. At Park Square in King of Prussia you can work out in your home or at our on-site fitness center and yoga room, giving you the convenience and confidence you need to stay on track with your fitness goals. Use these simple exercises the next time you workout at Park Square.
Stretching first thing in the morning is a great way to relax and prepare your body for the day. Try doing a few rounds of Cat/Cow. Start out in a tabletop position with your knees below your hips and wrists in line with the shoulders and a neutral spin. You’ll mimic the look of a cow when you inhale by looking up and pushing your tailbone up. As you exhale you’ll create the look of a cat by tucking your tailbone and reaching your chin to your chest while rounding your back.
You don’t need a treadmill or to run a few miles to get your cardio in everyday. Create your own circuit workout with moves like jumping jacks, burpees, jump squats, jogging in place, alternating knee lifts and more. Do each move for a specific number of reps with rest time in between and repeat at least two times.
Strengthening your body doesn’t have to involve heavy weights. You can start toning your body in the luxury of your Park Square home by using your own bodyweight. Planks are a great way to strengthen your arms and core. Add in movements like plank shoulder taps, plank to forearm and push ups for a more intense workout.
You can always find weights, workout machines and yoga mats in the Park Square fitness center and yoga room.
